Discover how our antennas can double the distance, half the power of your wireless wearable or device for difficult platforms

The AntennaWare team is heading to Embedded World, Nuremberg March 10th-12th, where we will showcase a number of new product launches, and will demonstrate how we deliver a typical link budget improvement in Non Line of Sight (NLoS) conditions of 6-16dB.

Join us in Hall 3 Booth 3-423 where our Co-Founders, alongside our technical team, will demonstrate how BodyWave™ and Omni-Wave™ deliver wireless performance that alternative solutions can't match on body-worn and other difficult RF platforms.

What's on our Booth:

  • New omni-directional, Sub-GHz (868/915 MHz) antenna: Offering a viable low-profile alternative to monopole antennas. AntennaWare’s proven BodyWave™ antenna technology is platform agnostic meaning it maintains its omni-directional radiation pattern even when deployed in close proximity to difficult platforms such as conductive body tissue or metal surfaces.
Available in two low-profile form factors designed for real-world deployment:
    Embedded SMT antenna:
Integrated directly onto your PCB with no ground-plane keep out zone, giving hardware designers freedom to optimize product layout without many of the restrictions normally associated with standard chip and printed antennas.
External monopole replacement: Designed to swap out vulnerable protruding antennas and immediately gain improved durability and aesthetics, without compromising on performance.
  • See the performance difference live: Our technical team, including Co-Founders Dr Matthew Magill and Dr Gareth Conway, will run live demos comparing the impedance stability and radiation efficiency of our BodyWave™ and Omni-Wave™ antennas with commonly used PIFA and chip antennas when placed close to the body and other difficult platforms such as metal. Resulting in a typical link budget improvement in NLoS conditions of 6-12dB, and a path to a wireless performance improvement of double the distance, half the power consumption.

  • Attend Wireless for Wearables and Difficult Platforms: Double the distance, half the power. Join AntennaWare CEO and Co-Founder Dr Gareth Conway on Thursday March 12 at 12 as he presents a 30-minutes session at the Exhibitors' Forum. Discover how an antennas and propagation approach delivers a step-change in the wireless performance and efficient power management of wearable devices and systems deployed on difficult platforms.

  • Explore proven applications: From Industrial IoT monitoring to asset tracking to sports wearables, and audio applications, BodyWave™ antenna technology is driving innovative wireless product development. See how design teams across industries rely on our antenna technology to deliver exceptional wireless performance and set new industry standards for real-time data collection, range and reliability.

  • New UWB Asset Tracking reference design/module: Developed with our partners at Synchronic-IT, visit our Booth for the first look at this joint reference design which brings the reliability of BodyWave™ antenna technology into an easily integrated format developed specifically for body-worn asset tracking use cases. This will be particularly of interest to system designers who wish to move up in UWB frequencies without compromising wireless performance, due to the greater impact of body blocking.
  • New Wi-Fi HaLow partnership with Morse Micro: AntennaWare has joined forces with Morse Micro to bring monopole-class Sub-GHz performance to a low-profile antenna for Wi-Fi HaLow applications. Visit our booth to experience the joint demo and discover how BodyWave™ technology gives design teams working on Industrial IoT, Connected Healthcare and Smart Agriculture applications a credible path to a low profile, more robust antenna alternative, without compromising performance.

  • New Wi-Fi6E BodyWave™ antenna: As the wireless industry moves up in frequency to escape the twin issues of RF congestion and rising noise floor, body blocking becomes an even greater challenge. This antenna allows wireless system designers the option to move to a higher frequency without compromising on wireless performance.

Discover how AntennaWare's patented antenna technology delivers the wireless reliability that gives products a competitive edge, accelerates time-to-market, and reduces redesign cycles.
